My Kid Makes Fun Of Me Because I Refuse To Be Wasteful

Ok so my oldest son makes fun of me because I do things like this! This toothpaste tube is flat because I squeeze it and use every last little bit of it. I'm sorry but I was raised not to be wasteful! lol  And I don't just do it with toothpaste. I also currently have a jar of Noxzema that I run my fingers around the edges until it is all gone. My child thinks I'm taking it too far and should throw it away even when there is just a little bit left. Am I crazy or do you do this too?
