Free Car Seat Check-Ups This Weekend
If you are like me and still have a toddler that uses a carseat, sometimes you may wonder if said carseat is secured properly. By law, children under the age of 4 are required to use a carseat properly restrained in the backseat. This Friday and Saturday, the Midland Fire Department is offering car seat check-ups to the public for free.
This 2 day event will take place at 1500 West Wall St. from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Saturday. To call ahead and schedule your appointment, please call (432)685-7332. And also, children must be present for the car seat check-up.
