
Experts Say It’s Bad For Your Health To Make Your Bed
Sweet! Thanks to this new study, I never have to make my bed again! lol According to experts, it is actually better for your overall health not to make your bed at all, ever. Because, they say, of a little tiny thing called a 'house dust mite.' I've got plenty of those in my house. lol Basically, these dust mites feed on human skin scales, so they love to be up under the sheets with us when we go to bed. The allergens they produce are inhaled by us at night which causes asthma, allergies and other illnesses. While we toss and turn and sweat at night our skin is flaking off and the mites have a feast! They love damp areas. When we make our bed up in the morning all that nastiness gets trapped and they eat for days, if we don't, all of that is exposed to fresh air and light, in turn the mites dehydrate and eventually die.
Experts recommend leaving your bed unmade for the entire day and who am I to argue with an expert on these things? lol Problem solved.
