Disney Just Announced Its First Ever Latina Princess

Disney Princesses have been around for a long time. Remember back to when you were little we all wanted to be a little princess. Well, yesterday Disney announced for the first time ever they have a Latina princess. Yes, finally!

Princess Elena of Avalor will make her debut next year and is said to be inspired by diverse Latin cultures and folklore. She will be voiced by Aimee Carrero. As a mom to a sweet, baby girl we are all about the princesses and I'm glad my daughter is able to be a fan of a little princess that looks similar to her. Way to go Disney!
