Is Whataburger Going To Change?

Ok, so can someone tell me what is really going on with Whataburger? Late last week, the news dropped that they had been bought out by a firm in Chicago or something like that. I thought nothing of it....until I saw all the meme's about the day Whataburger died. lol There are some funny ones I must say, but what does it all mean?

Is Whataburger as we know it going away? Are they all going to be changed to something else? Do we need to put our money together as J.J. Watt has suggested and buy it back? Where is the 'go-fund me' for that, because I'm all in! What have you heard about the great Whataburger sell out of 2019?
