Do You Buy Brand Name Or Generic At The Grocery Store-Or Both?

When you go grocery shopping, does your basket look like 'brand name central' or are you more of a generic product shopper?

A few years ago I would have said generic all the way, but I think I've discovered what must be bought brand name! I found out the hard way that cheese slices must be brand name, along with cereal, mayonnaise, ketchup and laundry detergent. Random right? But it's true. Toilet paper for instance I can skimp on, but paper towels, no! Soft drinks, I have to have the real thing and simple items like macaroni and cheese must be real as well. Others may disagree altogether and go all one way. What is your preference?
