I hope you're ready for it, because it's almost here. I'm talking about the Fourth of July! 1 week from today it will be Independence Day and lots of people will be grabbing their fireworks and participating in some Fourth of July festivities.

There is always plenty to do on the Fourth here in Midland and Odessa.

 

  • Star Spangled Salute

    Downtown Midland

    The Tall City is throwing quite a party this 4th of July with the Star Spangled Salute! It begins with the Freedom Run at 7:30AM and kids events all day long. The fireworks begin at 9:55PM!!! It's all happening in downtown Midland so if you're in the area, be prepared for quite a night!

  • Firecracker Fandango

    The Odessa Jaycees would like to invite you to celebrate  "Parade of Stars" with the 65th Annual Independence Day Parade. The parade will begin at 10:00am on the corner of 23rd and Andrews Hwy and continue south to 9th St. If you would like to register to be in the parade, registration is $15 and begins at 8:00am in the Odessa College Sports Center Parking Lot. Patriotic themes requested and we will be awarding prizes for best themes in each class. Join the Celebration!

    There is going to be quite a party in Odessa. There is going to be the Parade of Stars with the 65th Annual Independence Day Parade. It begins at 10:00AM at 23rd and Andrews Highway and goes to 9th Street. You can register at 8:00Am at the Odessa College Sports Center parking lot.

    At 3:00PM, the gates in Downtown Odessa will open and you can enjoy live entertainment, kids activities, food and a lot more. That night, the fireworks will be launched from downtown!!!
