2020 Graduates Get Their Own Graduation Ceremony This Year And 2021 Graduation Schedule
I think we can all still agree that last year was an unprecedented year. When you hear anyone talk about 2020, you always hear, 'it was a weird year' to say the least. Imagine how any graduating class, be it high school or college felt. Their chance to walk across the stage and accept their diploma was stripped from them for obvious reasons. However, this year they will be given that opportunity...
ECISD announced that they will give graduates from the year 2020 who were unable to walk across a stage last year that chance this year. The schedule for that ceremony and that of those from the graduating class of 2021 is as follows:
2020 graduates are required to attend a practice which is mandatory and also RSVP if they would like to participate.
- May 21st-10 a.m. OCA/OC Techs/New Tech Odessa at the OC Sports Center
- May 22nd-9:30 a.m. Odessa High School at Ratliff Stadium (RSVP)
- May 22nd-8:30 p.m. Permian High School at Ratliff Stadium (RSVP)
2021 graduations will be held over the course of two different weekends:
May 21st -6 p.m. Odessa Collegiate Academy at OC Sports Center
May 21st-8 p.m. OC Techs at OC Sports Center
May 27th-7 p.m. G.H.W.B. New Tech Odessa at Wagner-Noel Performing Arts Center
May 28th-8:30 p.m. Odessa High School at Ratliff Stadium
May 29th-8:30 p.m. Permian High School at Ratliff Stadium
All ceremonies will be live streamed on their respective YouTube channels as well.
Congratulations to all of the graduates of the 432!
