Growing cities and high traffic keep people on edge during their long commutes. Technology can be a distraction to people which will cause people to make mistakes while driving which can cause conflict.

Let's not forget the role social media has played in road rage. Aggressive driving has almost been normalized because of how many viral posts are about road rage.

Where does Texas Land on The Top 20 Road Rage Cities?

The study to identify US cities with the worst road rage analyzed time wasted and the difficulty of navigating each city. Another thing factored in is recorded violent incidents on the road, like shootings and reckless driving. This was all combined to create a score for each city.

I guess Texans can still say they are #1. Houston got a total score of 64.15 which guaranteed its spot at the top of the list. People in Houston are prone to road rage with a reckless driving score of 69, a shooting score of 36, and a high commute dissatisfaction score of 76.

The Texas cities don't stop there. Austin was able to land in the 13th spot, while Dallas came in right behind it at 14. Arlington just managed to squeeze in the top 20 at number 19.
