Ever since many of us heard that a COVID vaccine would be rolling out, we have all waited patiently to find out when it would be available to the public. Well I saw today on the internet, that this weekend Medical Center Hospital will be having a mass vaccination drive-thru clinic. The Pfizer vaccines are here and ready for those in the community who fall under Phase 1A and Phase 1B of those eligible to receive the vaccine. The mass vaccination clinic will take place at Ratliff Stadium beginning on Sunday January 24th.

It is recommended that you pre-register in order to speed up your shot and process time. Anyone here in the 432 can register and the schedule is as follows:

Sunday 1/24 9 am-3 pm

Monday 1/25 9 am-3 pm

Tuesday 1/26 9 am-3 pm

Wednesday 1/27 9 am-3 pm

Thursday 1/28 9 am-3 pm

Friday 1/29 9 am-3 pm

Phase 1A applies to all frontline healthcare workers and residents at long-term care facilities

Phase 1B people over 65 and those over the age of 16 with a chronic medical condition that puts them at increased risk for severe illness due to COVID-19

If you fall under either of these categories, you are encouraged to enter throught the main gates (south entrance of Ratliff stadium). Gates will open at 9 am. Pre-registration is encouraged and will help speed up the process. Click here to pre-register. If the vaccines run out early in the week, the rest of the dates will be cancelled. Anyone wishing to receive the vaccine, is encouraged to wear shirts with short sleeves, for easier access to the upper arm.
