People just never cease to amaze me anymore. Read this potentially horrible story that does eventually have a happy ending. This poor, innocent, little black dog, apparently was mistreated, malnourished and not well taken care of at all.

It was found at a shelter in Chicago and given a 'makeover' after it was found covered in flies, hair that was so long it could not be determined whether it was male or female and overall in poor health. After a good shaving and having removed two pounds of hair, she was given the name Ellen and is in the process of being adopted out to a good home.
