Up next, Marcus will be seen in IFC Films’ Sundance Institute Producer’s Award winning drama, “Farewell Amor,” on December 11th. Marcus co-stars as ‘DJ’ opposite Jayme Lawson, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine and Zainab Jah in Ekwa Msangi’s story of an Angolan family being reunited after 17 years of separation. With seven years on the hit series Black-ish under his belt, 20 year old LA native Marcus Scribner is branching out into film and voiceover work as he continues his rise. Since Black-ish’s premiere in 2014, Marcus has been nominated for multiple Emmy, Golden Globe, Critics Choice, NAACP Image and SAG Awards as part of the ensemble cast and won the Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Award for his work as ‘Andre Johnson, Jr.’ at the NAACP Image Awards. “Black-ish” recently returned to ABC on October 21st for its seventh season.
