Fourth Of July Festivities Have Been Cancelled In Midland And Odessa

In case you were not aware, a couple of super popular, largely attended events have already been cancelled for later this year. The announcement was made recently that the City of Odessa has cancelled the Firecracker Fandango celebration that normally takes place for the 4th of July out of 'an abundance of caution.' 

By the same token, The Midland Chamber of Commerce announced that they have also cancelled the 2020 Star-Spangled Salute for the same reason. These announcements were made amid the 'stay-at-home' orders that are currently in place for most of West Texas as we all continue to stay safely quarantined with our families.
