Did You Have A Waterbed When They Were Popular?

As we were furniture shopping over the weekend, we came across something I had not seen in years......a waterbed! Honestly, when is the last time you saw one?

My 14 year old's reaction? 'This is cool, I want one.' lol I told him that waterbed's were super popular back in the day and went on to talk about the pro's and con's of having one. I personally did not have one but my big brother did so yes, I did enjoy what I thought to be a 'trampoline with water.' What I remember the most about the waterbed is that it was cool to have one but they were cold in the winter, you had to pile on blankets to stay warm. Did you have a waterbed and what do you remember the most about it?
