Wife Will Not Drop Hyphen In Name – Leo and Rebecca Buzz Question

Leo and Rebecca Buzz Question - Been married for 2 years and my wife has always HYPHENATED her name with her maiden name. I always thought she would eventually drop it. NOW after 2 years I want her to drop her Hyphenated maiden name. Is it right to ask her to do this? I don't think she's up for it.
