It never fails, someone you know moves away and within a few months they're saying I sure miss this restaurant or that business. Because lets face it, even though some of us complain on the daily that there ain't a dang thing to do in Midland-Odessa, there are still some things you would genuinely miss if you moved away.

Naughty or nice? Which list would you say you belong on this Christmas? I personally think mommy's get a pass. Instant nice, no questions asked. We have a super tough job all year long. That's my vote. Kids...well it depend on which day you ask? lol But let me tell you hands down without a doubt who BELONGS on the naughty list without even checking it twice!

I was just reading this morning that according to a new ayeaye survey, 20% of people say that you have to have lived in a state anywhere from 1 to 10 years in order to 'adopt' that state and say you are from there. Thankfully I'm a native Texan so I don't have to worry about that but remember last year when billionaire Elon Musk announced that he had relocated to Texas?

Christmas is less than 100 days away. I'm not ready. I won't even be ready on Christmas Eve tbh. lol I am not one of those 'let me get a head start on my shopping' type people. But I know some who are. I have at least three family members that will literally be done with all of their Christmas shopping by Halloween and they give the best gifts!

So yeah apparently June and July flew by and it is almost time for school to start again. Geez where did the time go? I feel like we were just doing all the 'end-of-school' stuff and here I am shopping for school clothes and downloading school supply lists so we can start all over again.
