My Vacation Suggestion That Is A Short Drive Away

Many of us are in serious need of a vacation. Like an actual vacation. NOT a staycation. A couple of weekends ago, my significant other and I had a mini-getaway to a place not too far away and yet it seemed like we were in another world in Marfa, TX. We stayed at a beautiful hotel with a fabulous pool and enjoyed a very relaxing, very chill, no plans weekend. 

If you want a getaway that is less than 3 hours away but still enjoyable, I recommend Marfa, with its beautiful hotels, great places to eat, quaint town, then drive the short distance to Alpine, enjoy some of their scenery and restaurants, maybe a little hiking and Marathon, TX close by has a great bbq place and nice hotel as well! The entire area is a nice place to visit if you are just itching for a couples or quick family getaway.
