Summer is almost here. For many families, it is time to get that vacation time in at work and take the family on a summer vacation that all will enjoy. Or in some cases, families take quick, weekend trips just to get out of dodge. I get both and our family does both. Sometimes, spur of the moment, you just want to find a place to get away and unwind for a few days.
It is about that time to start planning your family's summer vacation. School will be out in just about a month and the fam will be hitting the road soon for a vacation destination of your choosing. Let me help you decide where to go. I have been to 2 of the 3 indoor waterparks I am about to suggest.
Are you ready to get back on a cruise ship and set sail to a beautiful destination? If you are, there is some good news today. Carnival Cruise Line is reportedly aiming for a July 3rd restart in Texas and Florida.
The Carnival Vista and Breeze would leave from Galveston while the Carnival Horizon would leave from Miami...
Many of us are in serious need of a vacation. Like an actual vacation. NOT a staycation. A couple of weekends ago, my significant other and I had a mini-getaway to a place not too far away and yet it seemed like we were in another world in Marfa, TX. We stayed at a beautiful hotel with a fabulous pool and enjoyed a very relaxing, very chill, no plans weekend.
Due to the Rona, everything it seems has been cancelled. Events, sports, concerts, celebrations, vacations that we would normally be partaking in this time of year have either been rescheduled or cancelled altogether. Boooooo! Our family vacation date already came and went, so we are having to reschedule.
So next week is Spring Break here in the 4-3-2. School's out for the WEEK! What to do, where to go? I've been reading story after story of people around the nation being afraid to travel with the Coronavirus stuff going on right now. Airports aren't as busy, 'touristy' places are not being frequented. What is your plan?
Summer vacations are in full swing! Yay for summer and getting away, whether it be to the lake, to the amusement park, the water park or in my case, the beach! Which I love and we do often....until you have to deal with crap like this! WHAT ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH IS THIS THING?
