Experience The Warmth Of Midland At Wet N Wild This Summer

One of the things that I absolutely love since moving to the Permian Basin back in January 2025 is that the region has an undeniable sense of community.  This came as a shock to me since the stereotype from people back home was that the area and the people are a little rough around the edges.  In fact, it's been kind of the opposite.  Yes, there are some people who fit that description, but I have also seen kindness in this city.

Midland Fire Department's Annual Wet N Wild

What is Wet N Wild?  Wet N Wild is a Summer Splash Fest hosted by the Midland Fire Department each year in partnership with the Midland Health Wellness Tour, which is designed to bring together the community of the 4-3-2 for some fun in the sun.  The event encourages community wellness while providing a way to cool off and also to connect with the men and women of the Midland Fire Department.

Based on previous years, the event has seemingly grown in popularity.  This year will be no exception.  The Midland Fire Department and the Midland Health Wellness Tour fully anticipate the community to band together for an afternoon of good times, mixed with community involvement.

What To Expect

• Inflatable Water Slides
• Firefighter-les water polo and games
• Obstacle course
• Fire truck displays and safety booths

Will you be in attendance?  This is a great, FREE, family-friendly event that is sure to be a hit with the kids!  Just don't forget your bathing suits.
