Midland Native Rhett Price Just Released His Debut Album On iTunes
This is an awesome story of a native Midlander who has gained national attention by being an incredibly talented violinist. I mean, this guy has skills! Rhett Price, who was born and raised in Midland and went to Greenwood Highschool, has been playing the violin since he was young.
Upon graduating, Rhett went to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. While struggling to make ends meet, he began playing in subways to make extra money. This is where he got his big break. Rhett posted a YouTube video of himself doing a cover of Taylor Swift's, 'Trouble' and in no time received 1.5 million views! After gaining national attention, Mr.Price is now touring and is currently making music of his own. His debut album, Kesha's Mom was released on January 20th and is making some noise on several different charts. Congrats to Rhett Price! Check out the video that went viral:
