Junior League Of Odessa Offering Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides To Look At Christmas Lights

If you have not taken a hay ride during the holidays to take in the sights and sounds of Christmas, have you even lived? When I was younger, some of my best memories were piling on the back of a trailer (or trailers) that someone from my church lent us to ride through the streets of my hometown to sing Christmas carols. 

This was a highlight for my school and church friends and myself as we would bundle up, sip hot cocoa and spend a couple of hours rolling through town, singing, marveling at the lights, especially those neighborhoods that went all out and just have an amazing time!

If you have never had this type of experience as a child or an adult, now is the time and I have the perfect suggestion for you!

WHERE WILL WE GO TO SEE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS?

you will be taken through Emerald Forrest Estates in Odessa to view the beautiful decorations and lights

WHEN WILL THE HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES TAKE PLACE?

Thursday December 9th-Saturday December 11th

Tuesday December 14th-Thursday December 16th

from 6:30 pm to around 9 pm all of the scheduled nights and rides last approximately 20 minutes

WHAT IS THE COST OF THE HORSE-DRAWN CARRIAGE RIDES?

$150 for four people, $200 for six people, $375 for a group of 12
