I went to a friend's house the other day and noticed that she still had her tree up. I don't judge because trust my Christmas decorations did not come down until mid-January. What I did notice after awhile however was that it was not Christmas ornaments on the tree. She had replaced those with little hearts, red, white and pink lights. It was the cutest thing!

I told her that I see so many people do this these days. It is not unusual through the month of February for people to post their 'Valentine trees' on social media. I even saw one in a grocery store the other day. Is this becoming more of a thing?

One of my family members even shared one on Snap the other day and to that I say I am here for this tree party! My friend said her plan is to just leave it up year round and change the decor on the tree with each holiday or season. March will be green for St. Patty's Day, then Easter, then Fourth of July, maybe some chanclas and sunglasses for summer, who knows? It is your tree to have fun with!

Coming from someone who takes forever to take down my tree after Christmas maybe I will try it this year? At least until I get tired of it. lol Is leaving your Christmas tree up year-round happening more and more these days? If it puts a smile on your family and especially your kids faces I say why not?
