Man Saturday was INSANE! You want to talk about busy? First there was the Insane Inflatable 5k in the rain! Those slides are scary in dry weather. In wet weather, the speed from a 3 story slide is enough to melt your face off! After that it was on to a remote  and then my kiddo Dravyn and I went to OSW Wrestling at Hood Jr. High where I had agreed to be the ring announcer.

Note to self: Speaking in front of tons of screaming fans is a bit different from speaking into a microphone alone in a studio. It took me about 10 minutes to warm up and get comfortable but once I did it was a lot of fun. You may not like wrestling but I promise you that your kid, boy or girl, will have an amazing time at a wrestling event. What really blew my mind was the crowd participation and enthusiasm. All these parents chanting out with their kids rooting for their favorite wrestler was pretty intense.

I also didn’t expect OSW wrestlers to be as impressive in acrobatics as they were but hey, I ain’t mad at em. They put on a great show and Dravyn loved it. At the end of the day, that’s what its all about. If my kiddo is leaving with a smile and talking about how awesome it was then I’d say it was a successful night. . . What he doesn’t know is that the masked fella he’s enthusiastically taking this picture with is actually a former roommate of mine lol. Hes met him before and had no idea.  . . .should I tell him?

PS. If you know the blonde kid in the yellow shirt please make sure he gets this photo. He wanted a pic with WWE superstar so bad but his mom didn’t have a phone to take a for him so I told him I would take it for him and post it on B93. Every kid should get a chance to have a pic with a WWE Pro Wrestler at least once in their life J
