BREAKING NEWS: Midland County Traffic Alert

Midland, Texas --  TXDOT has released a statement that the Highway 191 Eastbound entrance ramp will be closed at marker 270.

Earlier today, Public Information Officer Maryann Cedillo with TDOT released information on local closures going into effect.  These are just the latest of a lengthy construction project on 191, which has plagued local residents for months.  This latest information revolved around the 191 and Yukon portion of 191.

Timeline:

Beginning: March 26, 2025

Ending: April 14, 2025

Closures:

Frontage road entrance ramp closed at 191 and 270 (Eastbound)

Expect shoulder closures

Frontage Rds reduced to one lane

New Exit Closures:

Main lane S. Yukon Rd. **Spur 588** (Eastbound)

Main lane N. Yukon Rd. (Westbound)

New Exit Openings:

Exit to SH 348/FM 1788 (Eastbound)

Exit to Faudree Rd. (Westbound)
