The Abilene Zoo is such a great ZOO. I've been there plenty of times and it's always kept up and clean. And, yes they have a great variety of animals. The GIRAFFE display is the best attraction here in my opinion. Yes, you can actually feed the giraffes up close.

The Amarillo Zoo is a fun surprise when you go! Been there twice and have always enjoyed walking this zoo. One of the highlights for me at this zoo is the Bear they have. Loved the layout of this zoo as well. Lots of trees around the zoo!
