This could not be a better setup. You take America's favorite pastime, baseball, and combine it with one of Texas's favorite past times, and bam, you have a baseball field in Frisco.

Riders Field is located in Frisco a suburb of Dallas Fort Worth. It is home to the minor league baseball affiliate the Frisco RoughRiders.  This field is quite a monument because it houses the largest water feature in a professional sporting venue.

Everyone likes going to baseball games and I have never met a person who didn't like floating along a lazy river. Now some genius somewhere combined the two and put it in Frisco. Can't get much better than watching live baseball all while floating along.

Here are some fun facts:

* OPENED: June 9, 2016
* FIRST OCCUPANT: Dirk Nowitzki
* LENGTH: 174 feet (longer than an Olympic-sized pool)
* ONE LAP: ~400 feet
* CAPACITY: 68,000 gallons of water (eight times more than the pool at Chase Field in Phoenix)

According to the RoughRiders:

The Lazy River is the most unique fan experience in the DFW area and is widely recognized as one of the best ballpark features in sports. Rising above the right-field wall at Riders Field, the Lazy River provides one of the most unique viewing and entertainment experiences in all of professional sports. All guests can enjoy full 360-degree access to the over-3,000 square foot river and amazing views of the entire ballpark. Whether you want to enjoy the cool waters on warm summer night or take advantage of the lazy river's heater on a chilly spring evening, fans are sure to enjoy their night in the Lazy River.

I think someone should take me out to the ball game.
