Remember The House That Was Said To Be Haunted In Midland

I have always thought houses that looked like houses from movies looked pretty cool. If you have been in Midland a while, you can probably remember a house in south Midland that everyone talked about. The house is located behind La Mission restaurant on Big Spring Street. Every time I would drive by that house I always thought it looked like the old TV classic Munsters house.

I can't tell you I know the history of the hosue, so if anyone knows the story of the house I would love to hear it.  SInce I have always thought it looked like the Munster's house, I always wondered if it was haunted. Surely if a house that looks like that has to definitley have a story behind and probably be haunted.

In the past few years the house has been renovated and looks nothing like it did before. It appears to have had all new brick but on the outside as well as new columns. The house has new sidding at the top, as well as a balcony,  Another obvious up is the windows and the doors. The lot around it has been cleared but there is a shop on the lot. On the back of the house you can find a new garage and a brand new cinder block fence.

I love the fact that the house was not torn down but renovated to look like it did in it's young life. I think we should do more of restoring old homes and buildings. You know I get all of these ideas from watching too much HGTV.
