The roots and history of Elotes trace back to being popularized in Mexico. It contains corn either boiled or grilled and sprinkled with spices and chilli.  You can typically eat it straight off the cob or in a cup.

So what about locals in Odessa, Texas who enjoy eating elote's?  We searched out three great places where you can get your fix.

1.) Alfredo's Palataria

Alfredo's has been a staple in Odessa, Texas for decades.  They offer a range of Mexican-inspired and traditional refreshments other than elotes such as fruit cups, nachos, frescas, and Mexican candy.  I personally tried their elote in a cup and it was outstanding.
