Whataburger’s 75th Anniversary Brings Back 75 Cent Burgers
As Texans, we all know and appreciate a good hamburger. We also strongly feel (well, most of us) that Texas-based Whataburger is far superior to the California-based In-N-Out. To most Texans, if you do not agree, you're simply wrong. Regardless of where you fall when it comes to the superior restaurant, one thing is for certain: the price of fast food has noticeably gone up.

National Whataburger Day
If you've ever heard about National Whataburger Day, you'd probably know it's the anniversary of the time when Whataburger first opened its doors back in 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas. Every year the company gives special initiatives in celebration.
75 Cent Hamburgers In Celebration of 75 Years
In celebration of 75 glorious years serving their loyal fanbase, Whataburger is announcing National Whataburger Day 2025. While National Whataburger Day is not a new concept, this particular one will be extra special. To celebrate the restaurant's 75th anniversary, they will be offering a menu priced under $1 on August 8, 2025. This means patrons can enjoy a classic #1 hamburger for as low as 0.75 cents!
A 75-cent hamburger is practically unheard of in 2025. However, Whataburger wants everyone to help appreciate the loyal fans of the company. So realistically, you can expect cheap burgers on August 8th, but with hamburgers for under a dollar, it is almost a safe bet that the lines will be long. But let's be real here, the price (and taste) are just so good, that we won't mind the wait.
