West Texas Food Bank Receives Generous Donation

The West Texas Food Bank is all about helping feed the hungry throughout West Texas. They serve 19 counties in the 4-3-2 and B93 and our awesome coworkers with Townsquare Media have worked with them in recent years helping distribute the food. We were extremely happy to learn that recently over $150,000 was raised locally to help the West Texas Food Bank. 

Thanks to the 'Month of Giving' generously created by Jersey Mike's, over 600,000 meals will be provided to many throughout the Permian Basin. According to Newswest 9, during the 11th annual month of giving, 100% of profits from Jersey Mike's restaurant all go toward meals for the food bank. In addition, several law firms along with the Permian Basin Trial Lawyers teamed up to match Jersey Mike's donations for a larger overall total, $153,000.

According to wtxfoodbank.org, West Texas Food Bank is a non-profit which proudly distributes donated and purchased food to children, families and seniors with help from more than 80 partner agencies.
