West Texas Food Bank

The West Texas Food Bank is all about helping feed the hungry throughout West Texas. They serve 19 counties in the 4-3-2 and B93 and our awesome coworkers with Townsquare Media have worked with them in recent years helping distribute the food. We were extremely happy to learn that recently over $150,000 was raised locally to help the West Texas Food Bank.

This week, we had a 'Volunteer Day' at the radio station. A day set aside to help out a great cause. This month's awesome cause is the "West Texas Food Bank' If you have lived here for a grip, you know that the West Texas Food Bank does some incredible stuff...

West Texas Food Bank has begun its Summer Food Service Program. This program is designed to ensure that children who come from low income homes can receive a nutritious meal even in these summer months while school is out.

Today is the day that Jersey Mike's is participating in a 'Day of Giving' where 100% of all sales, today only, will be donated to the West Texas Food Bank. Both Midland and Odessa Jersey's Mike's Subs are open until 9 p.m. so take the fam for some good eating!

The Junior League of Odessa is having a food fight! In this case food fight is a great thing and its for an even better cause. It's time to help restock the shelves of the West Texas Food Bank and you can help with your donations of non-perishable foods such as pastas and rice, canned meat, macaroni & cheese, dry or canned beans, spaghetti sauce and such items.

Who is ready to 'Stamp Out Hunger?' Stamp Out Hunger is a food drive in which The National Association of Letter Carriers partner up with The West Texas Food Bank to participate in the nation's largest food drive to collect non-perishable food items.
