Trading in CDs and Cassettes for Money a Thing of the Past?

News this week kinda had me feeling sad. Who remembers selling their old cassettes and CDs?

Hastings has announced that it's doing away with its buyback program after saying they're filing for Chapter 11.

They're also saying that gift cards expire on July 13 (better use em if you got them) and they're no longer renting out video games.

But what got me was how many times as a kid did we look through all our CDs and cassettes and try to gather enough we weren't listening to to make some extra cash?
