WHAT IS CHINESE LUNAR NEW YEAR?

The Chinese Lunar New Year this year is called the "Year of the Snake" and will start on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. This will mark the first new moon of the Lunar calendar and also kick off the 15-day Spring Festival. The festival lasts until the next full moon. The Lunar New Year is considered the most important holiday in China and other Asian communities.
