Things We All Do While Driving That You Would Think Are Illegal-But Are NOT
Do you ever question yourself while driving? For instance, you missed your turn and are looking for a spot to bust a quick U and turn back around. Now you're back on the right path but you think to yourself, 'omg is that illegal what I just did?' You're just praying a cop is not in the area because you are so busted!
There are things that I even witness other people do and think heck no I'll never do that, I'm certain it's illegal. Here are 3 things you might think are illegal driving laws that actually are not.
IS IT ILLEGAL TO FLASH YOUR LIGHTS AT ONCOMING TRAFFIC TO WARN OF POLICE PRESENCE IN THE AREA?
I mean it may be frowned upon but no there is nothing that says you can't do it. Shocking right? I feel I'm doing other drivers a solid just warning them, hey slow down speed demon!
IS IT ILLEGAL TO DRIVE BAREFOOT IN TEXAS?
I've done it, still do. If it's a long road trip and I'm driving, I want to be comfortable so I kick off my shoes. There is no law that prevents this FYI. Honestly, I would think this would be safer than ladies driving in our heels or platform boots. Or even driving in chanclas doesn't seem very safe. lol
IS IT ILLEGAL TO DRIVE WITH YOUR AIRPODS IN YOUR EARS AND LISTEN TO MUSIC, PODCASTS, ETC?
NOPE! This one came from a friend of B93, Sgt. Jimmy Young. I asked him once because I think I had just received some new ones for Christmas one year. He said no it is not. I was surprised because I thought what if teens are blasting loud music in their ears, especially with the 'noise canceling' AirPods? You can't hear what is going on around you. However, I thought about how I use mine mainly to remain hands-free and talk on the phone while driving.
