The Midland, Texas Police May Be Coming For You
Midland, Texas -- The city of Midland has given the general populace a unique opportunity to square away any traffic violations, parking tickets, or arrest warrants.

The city issued a statement this week that between March 3rd and March 7th, the Midland Police Department is going to intensify their search for people with active warrants for their arrest. The Midland Municipal Court is encouraging anyone with active warrants to take care of this before they find themselves in jail. The Municipal Court wants to remind the public that if you voluntarily walk in to try and attempt to resolve any pending warrants, they are a Safe Harbor Court, which means you will not be arrested on site.
It is highly suggested that the public is proactive to resolve pending warrants before March 3rd, the date in which the Midland police will begin to pursue offenders with active warrants. To spread the word, during the month of February they have sent out text messages, emails, and made social media post in attempt to inform the public of the crackdown and educate on how to get squared away with the city.
