Texas Man Going 65 MPH On Freeway Riding On A Motorized Scooter
Amarillo, Texas- Recently, a video went viral on social media showing a man driving down what seemed like a very busy freeway on a motorized scooter.
The video shows a man in a daring attempt to drive a motorized electric scooter on a Texas freeway. What makes this video even more shocking is the fact that the man is wearing nothing but a T-shirt and shorts. He was visibly not wearing any protective gear, such as a helmet, knee pads, or shin pads. He was not even wearing jeans, which could have prevented a nasty case of road rash in case things had gone badly.
Texas Man's Crazy Electric Scooter Ride on Busy Road
The man's actions violated multiple Texas road laws, and it is highly likely he would have been arrested if law enforcement had caught up with him. Electric scooters such as the one in the video or only for streets and sidewalks and are never meant to be taken to high speeds and especially on a crowded freeway.

It is not clear if the man was ever injured or caught in the days after the incident. However, most law enforcement officials are showing this viral video of what NOT to do. This was incredibly dangerous not only for him but for other drivers.

On a sidenote, this was incredibly risky and not for the weak-minded. Some electric scooters have a governor that regulates the speed of the scooter to not surpass a specific speed. it's apparent this particular scooter did not have the governor in place. Regardless, do not attempt to recreate this.
