So yesterday was just like any other day, go to work, come home, pick up kids from school. Taking my usual route around Mustang Dr. in Andrews, TX when all of a sudden I see a huge police presence. Immediately I pull over to the side of the road wondering what is going on? Is there someone they are looking for? Was there an accident? You know our minds immediately think the worst...

Wow when I heard about this, I thought yeah right...until I looked it up for myself and found it to be true! Have you heard about the new law in Austin and how you should not call police for just anything? You are advised to call 311 instead of 911 for what is deemed a 'non-emergency.' Let me explain.

I kid, I kid. lol Seriously though, we only found out about 'the possibility of an active shooter on 191 and 1788' through friends and family making sure all was well at the B93 studios.

The message I received earlier this week from a good childhood friend was not a good one. She informed me that local police were searching for several 'undocumented persons' IN MY HOMETOWN of Andrews! When she said local I assumed somewhere in the 4-3-2, which is still disconcerting.
