From country legends to rock staples, Midland-Odessa is proving there's more to Texas music than just big names. This summer's concerts are set to surprise!
It's baaaaack! I keep forgetting that literally last year was cancelled and with it so many of our favorite past times. If you are like me, you may have paid a visit to the good ol' State Fair of Texas a time or two growing up. Well yeehaw, get ready to pay Big Tex a visit because it's back for 2021!
Slowly but surely things are getting back to normal in the 432. Texas, specifically West Texas are pretty much open for business! Masks are not required in most establishments unless that is your personal preference. I am telling you right now I love, love, love the fact that we were graced with the presence of our friends and neighbors, the Wagner Noel Performing Arts Center almost 10 years ago! I have seen everyone from Foreigner, to Kenny Rogers, to Olivia Newton-John, to Jo Koy, Shopkins LIVE! and countless other shows that include tribute bands and even my little one's first ever dance recital.
If you are eager to get out of your house and don't mind a short drive to my hometown, this weekend may be the one to head to good ol' Andrews, TX for a weekend full of fun for the whole family! The annual Wild, Wild West Festival is this Friday and Saturday the 23rd and 24th of April. With a carnival, food, a car show, a corn hole tournament, shopping and live entertainment each night you cannot
Who is ready for some live concert action? I think we all are! Well you are in for a treat thanks to our neighbors and friends from the Wagner Noel this weekend. Two big concerts, one weekend. Friday, August 28th check out Texas country band Josh Abbott Band, beginning at 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Wagner Noel.
Can I say there are several artists touring this year that I want to see in concert? OMG! First of all, I'm going to cross one off of the old bucket list when I go see Bruno Mars next month in Vegas which I'm crazy excited about. I would love to see J-Lo while I'm there too but beyond that I need some JT in my life! Justin will be in Texas the end of May in case anyone is interested?
Whether you grew up in the 90s or just love one of the best decades of music EVER, we've got a party made just for you!
The I Love the 90s Tour is coming to La Hacienda Event Center on Friday, October 27.
