Palo Duro Canyon is located in Canyon, Texas about 220 miles north from here; within 3 hours you will be pulling into what is a 'mini' Grand Canyon. Just outside of Amarillo, Tx. If you haven't been, you will be amazed that the Canyon even exist in Texas.
If you love outdoors you GOTTA see this place. Hiking, Horse Riding, Amphitheater Shows and more.
When I go, I love to do the Horse Trails. You can go on the horse trail for about 35 bucks for an hour and get an up close tour of the canyon and what's cool is no horse riding experience needed.
