So I hit up Jorge's Cafe regularly which means I'm in Santa Fe Square often. Tell me why if I'm there once a week I never noticed that a popular store on 42nd had closed. I literally saw a friend on Facebook ask the question the other day, 'Where did such and such store go? Is it closed for good?' I know that we only have 1 of these stores in the Midland-Odessa area so I thought omigosh how did I not notice? I'm in that area all the time!

But yes it is true and apparently, it has been closed for quite some time, I'm just horrible at paying attention to things.

WHICH POPULAR HOME FURNISHING STORE IN ODESSA HAS CLOSED ITS DOORS FOR GOOD?

Dallas-based chain retailer Tuesday Morning is no more! And seeing as how it is Tuesday morning, don't try to go there off of 42nd today because the store is empty! (Too soon?)

Wow! I didn't go here often enough and now it's gone.

WHAT HAPPENED TO TUESDAY MORNING IN ODESSA?

Back in 2020 nationwide the stores filed for Chapter 11 and over 250 stores have been affected by this since February, including 59 stores in Texas.

Liquidation sales are planned for some Tuesday Morning locations that are on the verge of shutting down, however, when I heard the news and drove past the store in Odessa off of 42nd Street just the other day, it is EMPTY.

I guess I will have to find another place to get some pool toys for summer, new rugs, and baby things for any friends expecting. You could find so many great things there! RIP Tuesday Morning in Odessa.
