Traffic Alert! This Brand New Overpass Exit Ramp In Midland Just Opened!

It's been 17 months since the CITY announced back in January of 2022 that new reverse ramps would be installed in front of SAMS MIDLAND on Highway 191 and Loop 250 area. We have seen several ramps on Loop 250 open up in the past 2 months and NOW one of the most NOTICEABLE exit ramps is open. And because of it, one closes.

• NEW LOOP 250 EXIT OVERPASS RAMP NOW OPEN IN FRONT OF SAMS MIDLAND! 

Of all the new exit ramps and on ramps that this area is seeing during all this construction, this one is the most noticeable and biggest. An overpass had to be built for the new LOOP 250 EXIT heading EAST on Highway 191 towards Loop 250.

• THIS IS THE NEW EXIT FOR LOOP 250, SAMS, H-E-B, AND MORE AT THE HIGHWAY 191 LOOP 250 INTERSECTION! 

Heading into Midland and wanting to hit up H-E-B or SAMS or another great business in that area, then this new OVERPASS EXIT is the exit for you. Miss this ramp and you will miss the area.

• THE OLD LOOP 250 EXIT RIGHT IN FRONT OF H-E-B IS NOW CLOSED!  

The EXIT ramp right in front of the H-E-B gas pumps is now CLOSED for good. Make sure to hit the ramp about a mile before this one to get to this area.

• REVERSE RAMPS ARE NOW OPEN TO HELP CONGESTION IN FRONT OF H-E-B AND LOOP 250

Hopefully, this will help the traffic build up in front of H-E-B which use to overflow from Highway 191. More construction and more ramps are to be opened up soon. As always while this construction continues, let's look out for one another on the streets of the Permian Basin!
