Midland-Odessa’s B93 MC Magic Full Interview
Midland, Texas -- MC Magic, born Marcos Cardenas, is a Mexican-American producer, rapper, and singer who has been successful in the music industry for decades. Initially, he gained notoriety in the underground Hip-Hop scene in the 1990s and eventually found commercial success.
He founded the NastyBoy Klick (later named NB Ridaz) and produced hits such as "Down For Yours," "Pretty Girl," and many others that were widely popular not only in the United States but also in Mexico and abroad. At some point, MC Magic broke away and decided to highlight a solo career where he continued to find success and gain fans.
On Saturday, March 22, 2025, MC Magic, along with Baby Bash, and Lil Rob performed at sold-out Ector Theater in downtown Odessa. I got a chance to sit down with him to chop it up to talk about the album, the tour, and life overall.
