Costco’s Famous Food Court: Will Prices Change Before Midland Opens?
The Costco that's being built on Hwy 191 in Midland, Texas is set to be completed by June 2025. This promises to be the largest Costco in the entire state and has gathered both excitement and anticipation throughout the region.

One thing that people love about Costco besides being able to buy great products in bulk at great prices is their food court. Costco is renowned for having insanely inexpensive food that is offered to anyone despite being a member. Meaning, anyone, even nonmembers, can enter the store and purchase food at the food court.
Prices:
Hot Dog Combo: $1.50 This combo consists of a hot dog and a drink.
Pizza: $1.99 (slice) $9.95 (whole) The pizza comes with either cheese or pepperoni.
Chicken Bake: $3.99 This is a chicken, cheese, and bacon filled pastry.
Churro: $1.50 A classic traditional churro.
Ice Cream Sundae: $2.49
Fruit Smoothies: $2.99
They also have additional menu items but for the most part, it's exceedingly noticeable that their pricing for the food court is reasonable. Which, in 2025, is surprising, especially with the rising cost of food collectively across the United States.
Do they plan on raising prices?
From what I have heard, this is a question that comes up often with Costco. How could they possibly make money selling food at such low prices? After all, the price of a hot dog combo has not changed since 1985. While Costco has not made any public plans about a price hike, it does not rule it out. Lets just hope it doesn't happen by June 2025 when the Midland Costco opens up.
