Recently announced on their Facebook page, the La Hacenda Event Center will be hosting Kevin Gates, as he brings his one-of-a-kind and electrifying performance to Midland, Texas, on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

A Star Returns to the Lone Star State

Gates hails from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and has gained a reputation as one of the rawest rappers in the game today. His style, flow, and delivery are legendary. Then include his persona that has been made famous via social media; this is sure to be an exciting performance. Other cities on the leg of his Texas tour include Austin, Lubbock, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, plus more. Luckily for us, we are included on that list!

Midland's Comeup

This is not the first popular rap tour that has come through to the La Hacienda Event Center. In 2023, the Event Center hosted Ludacris, and earlier this year, we saw Waka Flocka Flame and That Mexican OT come through the 4-3-2. It is nice to see that more and more artists are choosing Midland as a tour stop. This will be Kevin Gates' initial Midland visit, but he will likely return after he sees the high energy that only Midland-Odessa can bring.
