East Texas Pumpkin Patches for Pumpkins and Fall Activities

(East Texas) East Texas pumpkin patches offer families a place to find fresh pumpkins for fall decorating, Halloween jack-o'-lanterns, and homemade pumpkin pies. Many locations also offer seasonal activities like hayrides, games, and refreshments. Whether you're looking for a pumpkin for your front porch or a family-friendly fall outing, East Texas has options to explore.

This past weekend, my wife had me retrieve the plastic pumpkins from the attic so she could set the stage at our front door. She's accumulated quite the collection, too! Yellow, white, orange, and blue pumpkins, along with tall, squatty, and warted varieties, are now arranged outside our front door. Then, last Saturday evening, my daughter brought home a pumpkin she painted at her boyfriend's house. It's sitting in the middle of our kitchen island, featuring a ghost shooting candy corn from a gun!
