The 11-time Grammy award winner also announced on her Twitter page how excited she is to perform, telling CBS Mornings, "We're going to do some stuff that everybody can sing along to."

The show will obviously highlight some of her biggest hits, but there will also be a little rock-n-roll in there. Dolly's album "Rockstar" features some of the biggest names in rock, so look for some of those tunes as well.

The show will also kick off the Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle fundraising campaign.

“Wow! What an honor to get to kick off The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign with the halftime show during the Dallas Cowboys game this Thanksgiving,” Parton said in the press release. “Those Red Kettles have long been a symbol of hope for our friends and neighbors who are facing hard times. My goal is to encourage everyone who can to donate and support their neighbors in need. Every small act of generosity helps, and together, we can all love our neighbors this holiday season and beyond.”

Dolly will join a growing list of iconic stars to perform at AT&T Stadium including Reba McEntire, Clint Black, Destiny's Child, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Daughtry, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood and more.
