Spectacular Images of Blue October Performing in Abilene,Texas

Blue October made their return to Abilene on February 29th for the first big rock show in town in several years. Photographer Monica Weatherly captured the concert with these spectacular images.

The show went down at the historic Paramount Theatre in Abilene. First of all, I have to say that the folks at the Paramount have done an incredible job of updating the theater. It was also nice to be able to enjoy an adult beverage while watching the epic performance.

Blue October Acoustic Performance

Earlier in the day, Rock 108 hosted an acoustic performance with Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October. We invited five winners and their guests to watch the performance and eat lunch with Justin in the Townsquare studios. The look on our winners' faces, while Justin performed, says it all.

Blue October Concert At Paramount Abilene

The sold-out Leap Day show was epic as Justin and the band performed music off their latest double LP "Spinning The Truth Around" Part 1 and 2, as well as fan favorites like "Hate Me", "Into The Ocean", "I Hope You're Happy", and more.

Also, a huge shout out to California rockers The Veers, who opened the show with an incredible performance of their own.
