If This Doesn’t Make You Not Drink and Drive, I Don’t Know What Will

I was looking around at the news and there times that some stories just pull at the heartstrings, you know. This was one of them.

According to the San Antonio media, a 24-year-old woman named Kristian Guerrero is going through a complete nightmare. She and her husband were driving in San Marcos when a 21-year-old woman hit them, killing Kristian’s husband and causing the death of Kristian’s unborn child.

Today, Kristian is said to be having to gift birth to her still born child. Being a mom, I can’t imagine being in a car wreck and then losing not only my spouse, but my child.

On top of all of this, the lady that hit their car is said to have been drunk after tubing in the river. She is said to even trying to roll a bottle of alcohol under the car after the crash.

Now, this story may not sound that unusual, but check this out. One of the last posts they made before this crash had the couple posting their sonogram picture.

In the comments of the news article, someone posted a wedding video they had made not long before this crash.

If this doesn’t hit home to how awful drinking and driving is, I don’t know what will. Just starting a family and then to lose everything like that.
