The 12th Annual Butterfly Release and Family Celebration is happening soon in Odessa, Andrews, Midland and Big Spring. If you have lost a loved one and would like for them to be honored, this is the event to attend. It is a beautiful ceremony for your whole family to participate in. You are invited to honor the memories you have shared with loved ones that have passed on and release a butterfly in their honor.

It is a day of remembrance, fellowship, music and refreshments and it is free to the community. Names will be read during a memorial service and if you cannot make it on a particular day that it is happening, there are several events, in surrounding areas that you can attend:

• Odessa Saturday, April 29th from 2-4 p.m. at the Great Southwest Theatre
• Andrews Sunday April 30th from 2-4 p.m. at the B&B Bldg. (corner of SW 13th & Ave. E)
• Midland on Saturday May 6th 2-4 p.m. Carrasco Room/Midland College
• Big Spring on Sunday May 7th 2-4 p.m. Dora Roberts Community Center
