Is The Dating Scene In Midland Texas Really That Bad?

With every passing year, it seems like there is a growing collective of individuals who all seem to think that dating in Midland, Texas isn't worth it.  Some have even sworn off dating altogether. Claiming that the dating pool in our region of West Texas isn't much bigger than a shallow puddle.

Promiscuity is an issue that spans far beyond the borders of West Texas.  But that shouldn't be an excuse for why people cannot find love while living in Midland.  One born-and-raised resident told me that people usually fall into one of two categories.  Either couples who meet at an early age and have been together for years or everyone else who seems to jump from person to person.  Claiming the latter is how the majority of residents approach dating life.

Another would-be issue would be the large amount of people who move into the region for only a temporary stay.  Most people would agree that it would be difficult to have anything serious with someone who'll be moving away at some point in the near future.

So what is the solution?  How can anyone find success in dating when the overall collective seems so pessimistic?

Truth be told there is no all-in-one solution on how to date.  Granted it may be a little more challenging in a smaller city, but it still takes effort.  Whether it's online dating like Tinder or Bumble, or going out into the community.  So put yourself out there.  It does not necessarily mean that you have to go to bars and clubs, it can be anywhere like at the mall, church, or a sporting event.  One thing is for sure, without effort it isn't likely going to happen.  The love of your life isn't going to just show up at your doorstep.  Get out there and go find them!
